Nicole Sciberras Debono

Nicole is a trainee lawyer at WH Partners, currently forming part of the Blockchain advisory team.

Prior to joining WH Partners, Nicole was an intern for 3 years in another Maltese law firm and having assisted in commercial litigation matters.

Education

Nicole graduated from the University of Malta with a Bachelor of Laws with Honours in 2018, and is currently reading for a Masters of Advocacy from the same university, where she will graduate in 2019. Having an interest in intellectual property, Nicole has completed an undergraduate dissertation entitled 'Responsibilities of Intermediary Service Providers for Copyright Infringements by Users of their Service'.

Nicole was in charge of Social Policy and Legal Publications at ELSA Malta where she was co-editor of 'Project Jurisprudence: A Property Law Handbook' and 'The ELSA Malta Law Review VI Edition'. She has also contributed to various policy and position papers published by ELSA and G─žSL. She was also the Head of Marketing for the 3rd edition of the ELSA Malta Summer Law School on Maritime Law.

Nicole's main areas of interest include Intellectual Property, Information Technology Law and Privacy law.
