Junior Administrator – Finance
An opportunity has arisen for a Junior Finance Administrator to join the firm, supporting a broad range of internal accounting and billing functions. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the role also works closely with designated practice departments, providing financial and administrative support as required. This position offers valuable exposure to core finance processes and the chance to develop basic accounting skills while gaining hands-on experience across various areas of finance.
The Job
In this role, you will be expected to handle a wide range of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Provide administrative support to the internal Finance & Billing Department
- Accurately and efficiently perform accounting tasks
- General accounts receivable and payable functions
- Post invoices and payments in a timely manner
- Follow up with aged debtors to ensure timely collections
- Handle billing-related responsibilities for colleagues and clients
- Collaborate closely with assigned practice departments with financial and administrative support
- Assist with reporting and other support functions
- Filing and general administrative tasks
- Liaise regularly with departments, clients & suppliers
- Any other duty that may be assigned by the Firm from time to time
Requirements
The preferred candidate for this role should possess:
- A minimum of one year experience in a bookkeeping role
- O’level qualification or higher in Accounting or a related field
- High proficiency in English, with strong communication skills
- Knowledge of accounting software and Microsoft Office tools, and familiarity with Xero would be considered a plus
- A positive demeanor with a proactive approach and eagerness to develop further
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines
