An opportunity has arisen to join the firm as an Administrator to join the Firm’s People & Culture department. This entry-level role will provide administrative support across day-to-day HR activities, assisting with employee records, recruitment administration, internal communications, and general departmental coordination to help ensure an efficient and professional HR service.

The Job
The successful candidate will support the People & Culture department with a range of administrative duties.

Key responsibilities:

  • Assisting with the day-to-day coordination of the People & Culture department, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, preparing basic documentation, and supporting the team with routine administrative tasks
  • Supporting the team with administrative follow-up to ensure tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timelines
  • Assisting with internal communications, including employee notices, routine correspondence, drafting emails, and helping maintain clear communication channels
  • Supporting recruitment administration, including posting vacancies, arranging interviews, preparing interview packs, updating candidate records, and liaising with applicants regarding interview arrangements and application status
  • Assisting with the administration of onboarding documentation for new starters, including preparing forms, collecting required information, coordinating pre-employment checks, and ensuring records are filed accurately
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date employee records, employee files, and document management systems under the guidance of the People & Culture team
  • Providing support with document preparation, formatting, filing, version control, and basic quality checks in line with firm standards
  • Helping keep employees informed of routine updates, deadlines, and administrative requirements in accordance with departmental schedules and priorities
  • Liaising with external suppliers and service providers on routine HR-related matters, processing basic requests, and handling general enquiries
  • Working closely with the People & Culture and administrative teams to support efficient office and departmental operations
  • Undertaking additional- administrative duties as delegated by the People & Culture Manager to support the overall effectiveness of the department
Requirements
The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • At least 2 years’ experience within an administration-based role, ideally with involvement within HR
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Good organisational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage routine administrative tasks effectively
  • A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and a collaborative team-oriented approach
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • A keen interest to develop within Human Resources
  • An O’Level standard of education, including Maths and English
