Tax Associate
An opportunity has arisen to join the firm as a Tax Associate, ensuring the continued growth and success of the department which supports the firm’s practices in both direct and indirect taxation.
The Job
- Provide tax, legal and business advisory services to clients, as required by the firm or its clients, ensuring the clients’ best interests are met and in accordance with the firm’s high standards of practice;
- Act as a key contributor within the firm’s tax practice group by sharing knowledge and expertise – particularly in but not limited to tax law – with Partners and colleagues to support the growth and development of the department and firm;
- Offer tax advisory support in the context of commercial transactions, ensuring sound legal and tax guidance;
- Encourage effective communication and information exchange within the firm’s tax practice group and across its global network of tax advisors;
- Consistently promote a collaborative, team-oriented approach in alignment with the firm’s values.
Requirements
The preferred candidate for this role should possess:
- ACCA qualification or equivalent, and preferably holds a Master’s Degree in Taxation;
- At least 5 years’ experience working in a tax advisory role;
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in order to work in a dynamic team environment;
- Highly detail-oriented, with proven strength in maintaining accuracy and consistency;
- Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to take initiative and work independently;
- Highly proficient in both written and spoken English.
