At the heart of Malta–Italy relations: WH Partners supports Malta’s Independence Day celebrations in Rome

On 17 September 2025, the Maltese Embassy in Rome hosted “Malta and Italy: Echoes of Eternity” at the Pantheon, to mark the 61st anniversary of Malta’s Independence. Bringing together distinguished guests from both nations, the evening featured a performance by internationally renowned Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja.

WH Partners was honoured to support the celebration, hosted by H.E. Ambassador Daniel Azzopardi, in such an iconic location in Rome, showcasing Malta’s cultural identity, with partners and senior lawyers from both its Malta and Italy offices in attendance.

The event was a truly remarkable occasion with numerous participants engaged in fostering relationships between the two countries, and internationally. Malta and Italy share centuries of commerce and cultural exchange that continue to create strong bridges between the countries.
