Mark will participate in the panel ‘Update on Global and EU Tax Policy and the Shifting Dynamics: The Malta Perspective Thereon’, which will explore recent global tax developments, including the G7 countries’ agreement with the US Treasury, the OECD’s Pillar 2 ‘Side-by-Side Package’, and upcoming European Commission initiatives relating to tax simplification and DAC reform. The panel will also consider the implications of these evolving international and EU tax frameworks from a Maltese perspective, including competitiveness, regulatory challenges, and cross-border business considerations.
