Ramona Cassar will take part in a panel session titled Tax in the age of AI and digital assets, chaired by Niklas Schmidt (Wolf Theiss, Vienna), alongside Michael Nordin (Schellenberg Wittmer, Zurich), Caitlin Tharp (Steptoe LLP, Washington DC), and Michelle Visbal (Serrano Martinez CMA, Colombia). The panel will explore key tax considerations affecting finance and capital markets transactions as technological innovation continues to reshape the international tax landscape.
Mark Galea Salomone, Managing Associate at WH Partners, will also attend the conference where he has been appointed as reporter for two panels.
The conference is a long-standing annual forum bringing together leading tax practitioners, in-house counsel and advisers to examine emerging challenges in finance and capital markets taxation. This year’s programme highlights the impact of AI and digitalisation, covering AI in audits and predictive analytics, taxpayer rights, taxation of AI and digital assets, R&D and infrastructure incentives, and evolving rules for digital content and crypto investment structures.
