Prior to joining the Firm, Charlotte worked for a local boutique law firm where she gained extensive experience in the immigration and estate planning sector. She has assisted clients with data protection matters, especially since the coming into effect of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). She has also provided companies with legal advice concerning employment and corporate law matters.
Charlotte was conferred a Bachelor of Laws in 2014 and a Diploma of Notary Public in 2015, both from the University of Malta, before obtaining a Doctor of Laws from the same University in November 2017. As part of her studies, Charlotte submitted her thesis entitled ‘The Development of a Trade Secret Rule’ where a critical analysis ensued on the Trade Secrets Directive.
In 2018, Charlotte successfully obtained a foundation certificate in ‘Trusts Law and Management’ organised by the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners which helped her solidify her knowledge and expertise in setting up and administering trusts and foundations.
Charlotte is a member of the Chamber of Advocates.
