Adriana Brincat
Adriana’s main areas of expertise are competition law, merger control and EU law.
Adriana has acted as competition law country reporter for Malta for Kluwer Law International, (in a yearly publication entitled Competition Law in Western Europe and the USA) and Sweet and Maxwell (in the monthly European Competition Law Review) for over a decade. She tutored EU law at the University of Glasgow and completed a traineeship at the European Commission including reviewing the Guidance on article 102 TFEU. She has also consulted for another leading local law firm and helped instigate the first successful private antitrust damages action in Malta.
Adriana worked with the in-house contracts team at the University of Glasgow, most recently as EU Advisor, and was involved in setting up the University’s EU funding team and growing EU income across the University.
Adriana holds an LLM in international competition law and policy from the University of Glasgow, an LLB in English law from the University of London and a degree in European Studies from the University of Malta.
