Donata Vella

At WH Partners, Donata forms part of the Tax Advisory team, where she is primarily responsible for the provision of payroll services to the firm’s outsourced clients. She oversees the end-to-end payroll process, from payroll preparation and processing to ensuring that all related reporting and compliance obligations are met accurately and within the required timeframes. In addition to her payroll responsibilities, Donata works closely with the wider Tax Advisory team on employment-related matters and personal taxation, providing clients with support across the various tax and compliance aspects arising throughout the employment cycle.

Prior to joining WH Partners in 2026, Donata gained extensive experience with a number of mid-tier local corporate service providers, where she managed a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. Her work covered a broad range of areas, including accounting, VAT, taxation and payroll, with particular exposure to the gaming industry.

She holds an Honours Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta and subsequently pursued the ACCA qualification.

Donata is a Certified Public Accountant in Malta and has been a member of the Malta Institute of Accountants since 2020.
