Emma is a trainee lawyer who joined the firm in the summer of 2023.
Emma is a trainee lawyer with a strong passion for intellectual property, data protection, and tech law. She graduated with a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from the University of Malta in 2023 after publishing her dissertation titled “The Legal Applicability of Copyright and Personality Rights in Relation to Tattoos” where she explored the extent of copyright protection awarded to tattoos, and the implications it has for artists, clients, and the wider art community. She is currently pursuing a Master of Advocacy degree at the University of Malta.
At WH Partners, Emma has worked within the gaming and gambling team, mainly assisting in data protection matters, and within the tax team, assisting with tax and private client matters.
