Fabrizio Costarella is a lawyer specialising in corporate criminal law, preventive law, and white collar crime.

Since 2004, he has managed his own law practice, providing legal assistance to companies and professionals in complex criminal proceedings and offering consultancy in the areas of corporate liability, compliance, and asset protection. Admitted to practice before the Higher Courts since 2016, he has developed extensive experience in the field of preventive measures – both personal and patrimonial – and in the design and updating of organizational and management models under Legislative Decree No. 231/2001.

He is the author of numerous academic publications, including articles, case notes, and contributions to collective volumes, as well as a wide range of editorial works on criminal and economic law. Since 2019, he has been a member of the UCPI (Italian Criminal Lawyers’ Union) National Observatory on Preventive Measures, where he has served as Head since 2024.
He has also developed significant experience in proceedings before the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR). He graduated from the University of Modena with a thesis entitled “Criminal Protection of Share Capital, with Particular Reference to Leveraged Buyouts.”
