John Navarro

Prior to joining WH Partners, John worked at a boutique legal and advisory firm where his role encompassed legal advice and assistance with corporate, commercial and transactional matters for clients operating in a various sectors. He has advised on energy-related infrastructure project financing, supporting stakeholders in structuring and negotiating financing arrangements for large-scale projects in the renewables sector.

John also has experience in the estate planning sector and has assisted with establishment and administration of trusts and foundations. He was first exposed to the corporate and financial services industry in 2012, when he worked at a public-private initiative set up to promote Malta as an international financial centre. He later gained experience of legal practice in a Malta-based asset management firm.

John holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Malta, during which he also spent time furthering his studies at the University of Bologna, Italy. He was conferred a Masters of Advocacy from the University of Malta in 2017, following which he obtained a Society of Trusts & Estates Practitioners (STEP) Foundation Certificate in Trusts Law & Management. John was admitted to the Maltese bar in 2019.
