Kirstin Abela Caruana

Kirstin forms part of the litigation team at WH Partners and was admitted to the Maltese Bar in June 2024 after obtaining her Master of Advocacy degree from the University of Malta. During her traineeship, she gained experience within the firm’s commercial, regulatory and tax departments, equipping her with a broad understanding of corporate and regulatory structures that informs her approach to contentious matters.

Her practice focuses on general civil and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on employment disputes. She regularly assists in unfair dismissal proceedings, including constructive dismissal and redundancy-related claims, as well as other workplace disputes before the competent tribunals and courts.

Kirstin also has experience in both domestic and international arbitration proceedings involving commercial and financial services disputes. In addition, she is involved in construction law matters, including the negotiation of FIDIC contracts and disputes arising from Malta’s largest development projects.
