Pietro Rossi
Pietro is a partner in WH Partners’ Corporate and Finance team. He provides ongoing corporate assistance to clients and has extensive experience in banking & finance as well having a focus to project finance for renewable energy projects, financing and restructuring of real estate financing with reference to all market segments (residential, offices, hotels, shopping centres), negotiated settlements of enterprise crisis aimed to the reorganisation and restructuring by negotiating and executing agreements with banks and financial intermediaries, turnaround interventions and strategic, commercial and corporate reorganisations.
Pietro focuses his practice on all kinds of banking & finance transactions and corporate financing matters. In this context also related to real estate transactions, he assists large Italian Companies and Italian Public Institutions with reference to all needs related to the development of projects/plants and the funding of the projects/plants or of the special purpose vehicles trough project and acquisition finance, as well as corporate lending, transactions or other financial indebtedness (bond and mini-bond) structures.
In addition to being an Italian advocate he has gained a Private Law PhD graduation at Palermo University and spent time as visiting scholar at UC Berkeley, School of Law, Boalt Hall furthering his legal studies for the PhD Program.
Pietro is enrolled in the Chamber of Commerce of Rome as expert for the negotiated settlement of business crises and he is graduated with honours (cum laude) in Law at Università “La Sapienza”, Rome, with a final thesis on “Banking contracts and disclosure duties of the bank (Law no. 154 of 17 of February 1992)” with Prof. C. M. Bianca.
Pietro started his career in 1994 as a trainee lawyer in the Prof. Diego Corapi’s Law Firm, Rome.
